The Willough:What is treatment at the Willough
like?
Levels
of care to respond to your needs
The Willough's treatment services include
Inpatient treatment and partial hospitalization. Those participating in
the partial hospitalization program spend their day at the Willough in
group and individual therapy and participate in educational programs and
activities to promote healthy socialization. Patients in the partial hospitalization
program stay at one of the Willough's safe and comfortable off-site residences.
The Willough also has working relationships with a number of extended
care facilities throughout the nation, should you decide you need additional
support.
For the family
The Willough offers educational and therapeutic sessions for family members
and loved ones. By implementing the whole-family approach to recovery,
we find that, with hard work and willing participation, patients and their
families grow stronger and healthier.
Comfortable, comprehensive facilities
The Willough at Naples is a 60-bed facility in southwest Florida. The
rooms are arranged in two wings, one for patients in the eating disorders
program and one for patients in the chemical dependency program. Among
the Willough's physical features are its outdoor, screen-enclosed pool,
whirlpool, exercise room, and tennis courts.
An appealing location
Known for its sunny skies, unusually white sands and colorful sunsets,
Naples is the southernmost major city on Florida's Gulf Coast. Average
annual temperature is 77 degrees. Naples is 45 miles south of Ft. Myers.
Patients traveling to the Willough by air will fly into Ft. Myers, where
a Willough staff person will meet them and provide ground transportation
to the facility.
Continuing care
Before you leave the Willough, the staff will work with you to develop
an aftercare plan that will help you maintain your recovery.
Why the Willough?
What works about the Willough is its comprehensive approach to recovery-
mental, spiritual and physical-a program that covers, in detail, methods
of helping you eat healthfully, one meal at a time, and recommends the
appropriate care following inpatient treatment.
